Roszetta Bradley Oct. 1, 1914-Jan. 26, 2010 Roszetta Bradley, 95, of Rising Sun passed away at The Waters of Rising Sun on Tuesday, Jan. 26. She was born Oct. 1, 1914 in Grant County, Ky., the daughter of Samuel and Hattie May Calendar Boyd. She was married to Lora Bradley on Sept. 27, 1933. He preceded her in death Jan. 31, 1981. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her home over-looking the Ohio River. She loved to visit with anyone passing by. Surviving is her daughter, Marie Gilmore, of Rising Sun; two grandsons: Jeff (Becky) Gilmore, Dennis (Becky) Gilmore; one granddaughter, Vickie Craig, all of Rising Sun. Five great-grandchildren: Jason (Jennifer) Craig, Adam (Miranda) Gilmore, Jamie (Charlie) Smith, Christopher Gilmore, Jenna Craig; three great-great grandchildren: Caden Gilmore, Camden and Corbin Craig. Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 in the Humphrey-Taylor-Detmer Funeral Home with burial in Rising Sun Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Rising Sun Fire Dept. Tommy Furnish Nov. 15, 1963-Jan. 30, 2010 Funeral services for Thomas Jeffrey Tommy Furnish, 46, of Madison were held on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at Haskell Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. He passed away on Saturday, Jan. 30 at Kings Daughters Hospital. The son of the late George Edward Furnish an Lula Mae (allen) Furnish is survived by his cousin and caregiver Christy Adams long aunts and uncle and other cousins. Ethel Johns Funeral services for Ethel R. (McKinley) Johns, 85, of Dillsboro (formerly of Vevay are pending at Haskell& Morrison Funeral Home. She died Monday, Feb. 1 at The Waters of Dillsboro-Ross Manor. Margaret Elizabeth Gridley May 30, 1931-Jan. 28, 2010 Funeral services for Margaret Elizabeth Gridley, 78, of Rising Sun, were held Monday, Feb. 1 at Markland Funeral Home. She passed away on Thursday, Jan. 30 at Dearborn County Hospital. She is survived by 2 sons: Jim Gridley and Paul Gridley, both of Rising Sun; two daughters: Linda (Larry) Thayer and Deborah (Mike) Lafollette, both of Rising Sun; one brother: Walter David (Evelyn) Kittle of Rising Sun and one sister Helen Bennett of Patriot; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James A. Gridley, two brothers Raymond and Jim Kittle and two sisters Mary Kittle and Jean Lane and nephew David Kittle. Memorial may be made to the Alzheimers Association or Parkinsons Disease Support Network. Jerry Ernest Peters July 26, 1943-Jan. 31, 2010 Military graveside services for Jerry Ernest Peters, 66, of Vevay, were conducted by Vevay American Legion Post 185 and Post 5396 Wednesday, Feb. 3 at Vevay Cemetery with Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The US Army veteran served in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife Pamela; one daughter: Jerri Lynn Peters of Vevay; one son: Christopher (Kerrie) Peters of Cincinnati; one sister: Betty Peters of Hanover; three granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Oncology Department or Hospice of Kings Daughters Hospital.
